- Arm suckers with about 8-10 sharply pointed teeth on distal margins of inner rings

- Tentacles
- Club about 80% of length of tentacle.
- Club exhibits characteristics of the chiroteuthid families:
- Keel absent.
- terminal pad absent.
- club not expanded.
- Club straight.
- Club suckers in six regular series.
