Characteristics
Brachoria campcreekensis individuals are about 41.4 mm long and 10.0 mm wide (females 44.0 mm X 10.16 mm). Color: 2-spotted yellow (2.5Y 8/14, shown above); and striped yellow (2.5Y 8/14).

Habitat
Brachoria campcreekensis specimens were collected during the day (15:00) in a moist forest comprising tulip, maple, hemlock, birch, and oak trees. Individuals were found beneath layers of decomposing leaf material near Farley Branch, within about 5 m from the water. Other xystodesmids encountered sympatrically at this locality: Rudiloria rigida (coloration similar to B. campcreekensis 2-spotted morph, Fig. 7 A); Apheloria virginiensis corrugata (coloration similar to B. campcreekensis banded morph, Fig. 7 B); and Nannaria sp. (coloration dissimilar to B. campcreekensis: drab green with white spots).Distribution
Known only from the type locality in Mercer Co., West Virginia. The closest known Brachoria species, B. ligula, occurs about 40 air km southwest in Welch, McDowell County, West Virginia.Conservation status
Brachoria campcreekensis is threatened by habitat loss due to agriculture (especially growing demand for paper products), coal mining, development, and the invasion of exotic species.References
